We REALLY Need a New Associate Editor for Peer Review

The Journal has lost terrific Peer Review Editor, Virginia Bianco-Mathis, who has been a critically important element in maintaining the quality of the Organization Development Journal through her work! She was recently selected as department head and we all congratulate her! The work involved in peer review is terrific because it really keeps you on top of the new ideas in the field. Your dean will definitely appreciate your work as it adds prestige to both you and your institution. We are conducting an open search for this position until it is filled. Please send your resume or cv, along with a letter explaining your qualifications and desire for taking over this position. Contact Joel Finlay via odjed@yahoo.com.

We Seek Valuable and Interesting Articles

We are continuously looking for articles that will provide useful learning for O.D. practitioners and educators. Case studies are particularly valuable, but theoretical pieces with clear application to O.D. practice are invited as well. Send your article to Dr. Joel Finlay, RODC via odjed@yahoo.com. Include short bio (50-150 words), photo(s) of author(s), an abstract with the article body, and following APA style. See guidelines in the Organization Development Journal or at www.ODInstitute.org. We have a continuing interest in publishing articles/case studies on failed interventions and projects. We often say that we learn more from our failures than our successes. We have all had them so let’s get some good out of them so everyone can gain from our mistakes! Such studies may be shorter than the 10-20 pages we usually look for but still should follow APA style and include bios, photos, and abstracts. (It is OK to disguise the organizations.) Send your learning experience to Joel at odjed@yahoo.com.

We really hope that these forums will help us all by providing insight into what O.D. Consultants are passionate about and need to be discussed more fully, plus generate ideas for articles and presentations.
